East Maui Animal Refuge - Also known as "The Boo Boo Zoo," The East Maui Animal Refuge (EMAR) in Haiku, Maui, is a rehabilitation sanctuary for injured and orphaned animals who would otherwise die. - Pacific Primate Sanctuary - A non-profit refuge on Maui providing a safe haven for threatened, endangered and distressed monkeys.
